after swappping out my 1G maf and 450s for a 2G MAF and 560s (got a great deal and needed to recirc my BOV) well after i wired it up the car would crank and just when it would act like it was going to run it backfires real loud, and dies, and then it takes a couple times then same thing, backfires and not start, before i did the swap it started and ran fineish, any idea why its doin this? i followed Vfaqs guide

im not, i dont have much money, so i have no money for tuning, i got a great deal on 2G maf and piping and evo injectors, because i read that the best way to compesate for extra air from 2G maf is with 550s of 560s so i went that route..

i dont think thats the best way i think it just works decent enough. You should recheck your wiring on your maf with that combo it should run

stock MAF and injectors? or just stock injectors?

No logger? Hack the sides of the MAF out and back out flush on the MAF byass screw. Don't mess up those side honey combs your gonna want to put them back in when you have a tuning source and logger.

other then that it should work fine turn the boost up and it will help or raise the base timing some.

v-faq the MAF wiring I got mine perfect first try. Made my own harness from the old 1g maf.
