I have a 2gb 1998 eclipse. It was awd swapped by the previous owner, and the fuel gauge doesn't work, BUT THE LOW FUEL LIGHT WORKS PROPERLY. So I decided to tear it apart and check out the wiring.
I searched for the proper wiring, and what I found doesn't make sense to what im looking at. It says about there being a 2 pin connector and a 3 pin. There are 2 larger connectors in my fuel pump area, and the one that does into the fuel pump. into the pump there are the black and black/blue to the fuel pump power, operating properly.
The other 3 wires into the pump/passenger/pump sender are black (has good ground) and the other 2 are both yellow with a black stripe. right now they are both wired to the drivers side larger plug to the same colored wires.
Anyone have a proper wiring diagram?
