Since installing my awd fuel tank and subframe, I've somehow been loosing fuel. It leaked once, possibly due to the driver side sender unit lock ring wasn't fully tightened. Since then, no seen leaks, but the car goes through fuel faster, and the fuel level drops over night. Does any one have thoughts on this? What can I look at? Also, how does the fuel flow from the tank? Does the pump draw fuel from one side before the other, or do both sides send fuel evenly?

I wrote the short tech article on the second link, I can further explain if necessary.

The only thing I haven't seen yet, is whether the pump draws fuel from each side equally at the same time, or from one side, then the other. Purhaps O missed it, but that's still the one question I have left.

:thumb: for writing the article.

In addition to this, here's another issue and question. Since the awd tank install, my car seems to run through fuel quicker, or it's somehow leaking. I'll fill the tank mid-day, and do my normal driving to and from work (maybe 60 miles round trip) and by the time I'm home, the needle reads what i would suspect it to, for example, full tank before heading to work, after returnig home, needle drops to 7/8 of a tank. Then the following morning, I got 3/4 of a tank. There's no fuel puddle under the car, or stains from where fuel could have leaked then evaporated. I did read somewhere that someone had fuel leaking and it pooled in the tank heat shield until they lifted their car with a jack and it poured out. Tried that and got nothing. Can anyone sugest anything? I haven't yet gotten a chance to measure resistance on the sender units or gauge yet either.
