2G Automatic Transmission Fluid Ideas

I want to change my transmission fluid before the summer and I was just wondering what to go with for AT fluid because most people just talk about MT fluids. I was thinking more towards the AMSOIL AT fluid because it is universal and meets the stock fluid requirements. Most people under the AT just talk about MT fluid is it the same thing or is it different?

I use B&M trick shift in my 92 tsi auto, it was either that or really cheap stuff, i like it.

I use Mobil 1 ATF with Lube Guard Black

John at IPT said this was a good combo. Mobil is a little cheaper then Amsoil, and you can get it locally. Some autoparts stores carry the black stuff, but I normally order from IPT.

John also recommended against using any form of trickshift in our transmissions. (I asked him this stuff a long time ago)
