Find myself a complete newbie when it comes to the automatic trannies 
.
My FWD Sypder GST has this problem from the day I got it: tranny is 100% fine under normal driving. But when going above 90% throttle, it seems to loose a 3rd gear (it goes to shift from 2nd to 3rd, but instead ends up in what feels like neutral). Sometimes it finds next gear right a away, other times it takes a while and I have to put into neutral and then into D to come back.
This happen about 30% of the times I go into WOT, so I try to avoid it altogether. The rest of the time the tranny is PERFECT! Well, as good as you can expect DSM tranny to be
