Just bought my first auto DSM a couple months ago and am having some problems with it. Sometimes when I come to a stop, and then try and accelerate, it feels like it doesnt want to go for some reason. Just kinda sits at 2500k rpms and doesnt really go anywhere. But then other times I can accelerate just fine. It even does it if I slow down to like 10 mph to go around a corner and then get back on it a little bit. It takes it a good 5 seconds before it really starts to move. Almost feels like its maybe stuck in 2nd gear, and then downshifts back to 1st. And also sometimes when I get on it from a roll it wont downshift into a lower gear for me to accelerate no matter how much throttle I give it. I have to let my foot off the gas a couple times and floor it and then it will downshift and take off.

The car is fairly stock; small 16g, full 2.5" exhaust, safc2, 450cc inj, manual fpr, manual ecu, rewired stock fuel pump, and boost controller at 14psi.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

datalog it.

I've had my logger in since the day I bought the car. Everything seems to be running perfect.

And also, I checked the trans fluid and that seems to be good yet. Where should I start and try to diagnose the problem? I was thinking about just changing the trans fluid and filter first. And then maybe switching out the TCU. And if that still doesn't change anything, I have a good trans that I can throw in to see if the problem is the trans itself. What do you guys think?

I would try a different TCU. Does your TPS sensor work properly? It sounds like the TCU is confused over something, and it also seems like you may have other problems, boost leaks, ignition issue, something like that bogging the motor. Any knock?
