Will removal of automatic tranny cooler cause problems?

I bouught a punishment racing fmic kit for my 1g. After taking everything off i found that the lines for the tranny cooler are in the way. If I remove the cooler, will it cause problems for a daily driven car that never seems more than 10-12 psi?

Its better to just move it to a different location. Although transmissions can be used w/o coolers, it will prolong the life and durability of the transmission if it is utilized. Can you relocate it any where else?

Buy and aftermarket one and mount it on the other side where your SMIC used to be.

And why does your car need a FMIC if it's only going to run 11-12psi? Sounds pointless to me.

10-12 psi ?? I would get a bigger trans cooler than a fmic..
