Aloha,
Oregon
Well looks like the autocross season is in full swing here. I just finished my 4th event last weekend and so far the changes over the winter have being kicking ass.
1st event: Just a practice I used to break in a new set of V710s. It was all kinds of greasy until we each got 3 runs in. Then the grip started coming a more and more as the day went on. I think we each took 7 runs running boost at 15psi. Overall I couldnt get a good feel for the car cause traction level changed each run and I had the power quite low.
2nd event; First actual event. It was dry while we were working until the end of the other groups runs. Then it started pissing rain and went from dry concrete to standing water. Well I was still on v710s and didnt have time to change, my buddy had another friend swap out to street tires...Needless to say, I had no traction and lost horribly (2nd place)
3rd event; This was a Porsche club event and an amazing day. I had no problem getting heat in the tires single driving. This was a perfect day to learn the car and how it needs to be driven differently with the quaife vs the old open front diff. I kept getting faster and faster each run getting closer to the limits of the car. I was only slower than a 1600lb Porsche 914-6 with 200whp and a Mini Cooper with $$$ and driven by the current SS national champion and a professional instructor.

4th event; 2nd SCCA event, the club I actually run for points in. I had the great luck of having to run first on a cold morning and dirty track. So at 9am in the morning the first runs were all about getting heat into the tires as they had nothing for traction. The second run was a bit better than the first, but still no where near good enough. At this point I decided to drop 2psi all around and put down a decent enough time to be 4th overall and of course 1st in street mod. By our 4th runs (We were dual driving my car) the tires were getting stickier and I dropped 3/10s from my 3rd run. 5th run was all over driven and I felt like the front just didnt have enough grip.
Last run I added the 2psi back to the front tires (rears were still not warm, under 100*) and was able to drop down to 35.2, .6 sec faster than my 3rd run.
These were all in our crappy lot here in Portland. Almost all the rest of our events are in Packwood Washington, an nice 12 acre lot with a huge warehouse style parking area covered.

Car Impressions; The 2.4l continues to amaze me. I don't see how I could ever go back to a 2.0l. I can rev to about 3500rpms and still start spinning all 4. The torque coming out of corners is amazing and at only 20psi manages to slightly overwhelm the 275 v710s. But now with the Quaife that doesnt automatically mean understeer. Actually, its just point it where you want to go and bam, you're there.
So far Ive been fastest using a line like a fwd car would to maintain speed, but coming in only slightly below maximum cornering speed (for that particular corner) and accelerating through the corner as much as possible. The engine is loaded and shoots like a rocket as soon as you hit full throttle and the car is pulling itself through the corners instead of fighting it with the throttle.
I gotta say, this car is surprising me as much as it is everyone else around here.
