auto trans wont go in????

ok guys im doing the auto tanny swap on my 1g manual 4g block and i cant get the tranny to fit i know the cranks are different but it has been done. how do i get the torque converter to fit in there right?????

The cranks are the same.
Did you install the crank bushing?

As stated above, MAKE SURE 100% that you use the ring. You NEED it no matter what. Also make sure the torque convertor is clicked in (3 I believe), Times, Into the trans, Before install.
