auto to manual trans swap ?

thinking about buying a 1992 talon tsi, just wondering how hard is it to swap to a manual. was thinking about getting a shep trans. just seeing how hard it is to go about this project

Go find a parts car.. with a blown motor or something at the junkyard.. (or craigslist)

A donor car is the easiest way. And just swap over the clutch setup/clutch lines/trans/diff/all the good stuff.

I did the swap a couple months ago and to me, the hardest, well not hardest but definitely most frustrating part, was changing the pedal assemblies.

I would get a donor car. But thats just me, I see a lot of people get donor cars when they do swaps. But the swap shouldnt be that hard.

OP: unless that Talon is an amazing deal, I'd forgo the transmission swap and just stick to an auto. Or find another DSM that's manual already.

Depends on what you plan on doing with the car I suppose.
