Auto rebuild kit?

I am looking for an rebuild kit but can't find any besides ipts' and thats too much for me right now. I'm just looking for an oem kit so I can get this thing back on the road quickly. Any help would be appreciated. thanks


Also is the w4a33-1 the awd trans? And with ipts' shift kit how much fluid should be in it. The directions say to fill it until the hissing stops but it doesn't stop. I installed that last winter so it's good that i am asking now.

Goto a local tranny shop and ask for a oem rebuild kit. Or try mitsu.

Well I just said F-it and decided to go with ipts' kit just didn't want to spend that kind of money right now. Just knowing your getting the right parts and quality parts that can stand up to the abuse is worth it. Ordered the kit yesterday so next weekend i will be getting started on that. I can't wait to get the kit in and see how much better it feels without the slipping.

yeah, i would say thats a smart move, ipt owns the A/T market. did you get the shift kit/end clutches and seals with your order? also, i would do a tranny cooler, talk to John, he'll take care of you...

I did buy their shift kit and end clutch kit last year and with all the downtime they might have 500 miles on them. After pulling the trans apart it turns out I broke the kickdown band somehow. I think i might have overadjusted the servo last time so i'm hoping that doesn't happen this time. I haven't picked up a cooler yet but it's on the list.
