Alright so I am swapping my GSX to auto and I plan to build the transmission and have it hold 800+ HP on a regular basis. I am not new to autos but I am new to the mitsu autos. Anyways I looked at the IPT kit But what I am wondering is, is there other options out there that will do what I want? I am just trying to get this right the first time! So if any of you can chime in with what you have heard or have done yourself that would be awesome! Thank you very much!

Thanks Bud, yes, I do build autos as well. At those power levels I would strongly recommend shotpeening the hardparts and cryotreatment along with a Kiggly front/end clutch assembly and OEM Mitsubishi or Borg Warner or Alto frictions for the other clutch packs, new steels, Mitsubishi seals and gaskets, Mitsubishi kickdown band, shift kit, weld the center diff and shotpeen/cryo the diff gear, Kiggly manumatic shifting mod, port the oil passageway at pump and pickup, jack the line pressure and get a good torque convertor.

Are you going to have the pricing on your website for these mods? really seems like everyone is starting to go automatic now for realiability reasons.

I will get around to pricing on the website, but it normally ranges from $1400-2200 range for the rebuild based upon options, and a bit more if specialized surface treatments are used on the hard parts to increase durability.

I simply have not had time to put the pricing up on the website as I have been so busy with current customer transmissions. Normally, I just send an email quote or phone quote based upon each customer's needs vs. offering a "staged" transmission.
