as soon as hitting boost car starts to sputter

hey guys i have a problem, my 95 gs-t starts to sputter as soon as i start hitting boost, the only thing i have is a evo 3 16g, and i put on my boost gauge and it says im runnig 18psi, but i never had a boost control, what should i do to fix this problem? thanks

You are getting boost creep, research it. Also may have some boost leaks, but I wouldnt boost anymore till you fix the creep. 12-14psi is the most you want to run or you may burn up a valve in the head.

your profile shows you are totally stock except for the turbo and fuel pump. is this correct?? you shouldn't be running much boost at all with those upgrades. 10 psi maybe.

What size have your exaust line? if less that 2.5, its not a boost creep problem. do you still have a cat?
