Resolved Are the 1G and 2G dipstick *tubes* the same?

I need to know this, because I need a new one, and my buddy has a few 1G parts cars.

Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it will work and the handle wouldn't break off like your 2g

What handle? I'm talking about the tube, not the dipstick itself.

But, I got one off of a Hyundai 4g63 motor (or whatever the one is that looks like the 4g63,) and it works fine.
