Are t3/t4 cast exhaust manifold any good?

Like I mentioned on my title. Are the t3/t4 cast manifold any good? I just purchased a t3/t4 cast exhaust manifold but heard that they do not last long even though they do say it does. They eventually crack about 3-4 months or so right? I was planning on getting the 2g exhaust manifold but decided to go with the t3/t4 cast exhaust manifold. Let me know what you guys think before i put it on. THANKS!

yeah cast mani's are to tought to crank takes long time and hard driving...... tubualar onthe other hand depends reall!

Again, it depends on the manufacturer and the metal used in the casting.

The early SBR cast manifolds were absolute junk. I've posted these pics on other threads on here, but this is what happened to my buddy's original SBR manifold (which has now been replaced under warranty):

Whoa! that is crazy. That's a nice exhaust manifold you got there. cracked in half. How long did that exhaust manifold from SBR last your friend for? Are those manifolds your friend got worst then the HAFE Performance cast s.s.?

That manifold broke last summer, and was part of a GT13 turbo setup that he had purchased the summer before. Given the benefit of the doubt, that manifold was 2 years old (not counting possible shelf-time) when it broke....however the mileage was just around 4k. The turbo that was used was a GT13 (a hybrid GT30R) and a 38mm Tial Wastegate, so there wasn't a great deal of weight that would cause any abnormal stress.

Again, this broken manifold was completely replaced under warranty from SBR. With less than 500 miles on it, the new manifold appears to be 100% better, but only time will tell.

oh, so are all SBR exhaust manifold have warranty on them or is it just for certain ones?
