Exhaust manifold any good?

here is the ad:
"Bolt on some serious HP with this custom, CERAMIC COATED, tubular, racing exhaust manifold ( header ) for your turbocharged DSM. Will fit 1990-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse , Eagle Talon , and Plymouth Laser RS , turbo models only ( GSX, GS-T, TSi ). However, this would also be a nice piece if you plan installing a turbo on your 1G non-turbo or any turbo project using a 4G63 with DOHC head. Direct replacement for your stock, ugly, heavy, cast iron exhaust manifold and features an incorporated support bracket to relieve stress and nearly eliminate the possiblities of cracking. This header has been fully CERAMIC COATED inside and out with a 2000+ degree, high temperature protective ceramic material. Aside from looking great, this coating traps exhaust heat and energy inside the runners which results in faster spool time and cooler underhood temps. All hardware (including new, shorter bolts), and gaskets are included. Manufacturer's 3 year warranty included with purchase! This header is quality manufactured using 16 gauge, mandrel-bent, smooth, ssteel tubing with 3/8" thick steel flanges and sports a durable ceramic coating which looks like polished chrome. No need for expensive port work or porting as the large, tubular runners aid faster spool up, more top end, and dashing good looks. Will fit standard Mitsu turbine housings (14B 16G 20G Etc.)"

well there are some things you should address first. Who makes the manifold? do the welds look good? what turbo is the manifold setup to use? what kind of material was used for the manifold?

ive heard that manifolds that are tublar like yours tend to crack easily along with a few other things.....by just asking is this manifold good or not isnt enough info for us.

Looks like a pacesetters mani. The runner to the far right in pic looks like it has a very sharp bend on it . Doesnt look to good from here. But, the mani is very nice. I guess all depend on $$$$. How much is it ? also depends on the collector.

Hey if i email you a pic of a manni can you post it one this thread ?

there was a really good thread on this a couple of weaks ago. Try a search ,
some one actually posted a good concept of cylinders and forced air and air travel etc..... I cant explain exactly the same but here is the idea.

ex: cylinder 1 and 3 go together as 2 and 4 go together
So the concept was that air passing thru creats a suction force for the air coming behind it .

Ex. cylinder 1 shouts as same time as three if equal lenth runners , both airs reach turbo at same time and got to fight each other to get thru.
there fore if cylinder 1 runner was shorter than 3. then 1 would pass thru turbo easily and creat a suction for cylinder 3 to pass and so on .
The idea was from cylinder 1
1 short 2 long 3long 4 short
or 1 long 2 short 3 short for long .
I have a manni that perfectly illustrates this concept but i dont know how to post
Maybe a MODerator can step in and i can email them the pic so they can post it here.?

edit : here is link scroll down 3/4 of the way and look at Blackgsxrct's post

I don't think many people will have a whole lot good to say about them.

Yeah, there's been a few posts on here where I've seen people downright loathe the company. However, they do have a good warranty. Somewhere in the 3-year range, if I remember correctly.
