Whats up guys, i was browsing ssac and seen they had manifolds and i was wondering if they are any good, also planning on running a gm maf, is it just plug and play thanks.

For the gm maf You need a MAF Translator for it to work, so no it is not plug and play.

The maf translator is going to be an obsolite part as soon as everyone understands how worthless it is.

DSMLink version 3 can allows you to hook up a gm maf without a translator, and is 20 times the tuning devise.

If it hasn't already been released it will be shortly, dsmlink version 3 will have full speed density which will eliminate the use for a gm maf and also be alot better.

DSMLink v3 just has the translation software built in. You still have to pony up more cash for that option.

If you aren't going bigger than 650cc injectors, MAFT is still a cost effective way of tuning seeing as you can pick up the entire setup for $100 or less (including the sensor).

ok well how bout the ssac manifold any news on that, ill be running a big 16g on it and wonder does it help with boost creep. thnx

An exhaust manifold will not help with boost creep, a ported internal wastegate or external wastegate will help that.

If you will be using a 16g, I'd stich with a 2g ported cast manifold.

A manifold doesn't help with boost, what does help eliminate or reduce creep is porting of the turbine housing and flapper area to allow the flapper to open more.
