This is N/A block and got OIL SQUIRTS...Plus this block got Single MAIN CAPS..my turbo 6Bolt got 2X2 and Journal..I used my turbo 6Bolt Mains..those 2*2 and journal..fits great on this N/A

85mmBore,88-89mm stroke
on side of this block is written 4G63,and there is number : GQ3834
Already used old 6Bolt turbo Head gasket=fits great all chanels:thumb:
used old 6B T water pump=:thumb:
used 6B Turbo Front cover=got difference due different tensioner style (SOHC got spring, DOHC hydr. Tensioner)
of course Oil pan fit:thumb:

I was talking with Biglady about this block..THX:thumb:

Did you say you're swapping your old main caps to the new block? I don't think that's a great idea, they should be machined as a unit. You should be prepared to line hone, and maybe line bore the mains. If I was gonna try that, I would at least measure the taper and out-of-roundness with a bore gauge to make sure there's nothing crazy going on. I wouldn't trust plastigage in this case. Not that I ever do...

I just used those 2in1 main caps in SOHC if block measure is same..BTW I will be happier to use 2*2 and 1* journal like on DOHC..

So, may I use this block with crank???
Iam affraid of 5*1main caps..wanna turn to 10k rpms on 35R or 40R..
crank looks okay..mean main bearings.. only Iam afraid of performance of this SOHC crank:confused:

BTW I can get Hyundai block with crank... and can get 6Bolt DOHC crank taken out of cracked 150HP DOHC Eclipse block...May I use hundai block and right mitsu DOHC 6Bolt crank?

some pics http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t288/VencaGSX/

Every input will be great in my situation:cry:
Thanks

Rule #1: Do NOT mix and match main caps from one block and place them onto another block. Unless a MAIN hone will be done (this isn't a cylinder wall hone btw).

All the parts I wrote I used..like old water pump, front cover..blah blah I just used to compare if DOHC stuff fits on SOHC block...
We talk about main caps..wrote maybe milion times..wanna rev it to 10k rpms...how about Single main caps and 10k rpms and 40R turbo??
somewhere found "kiggly racing main cage"..cage for all main caps to hold together..looks like on 7Bolt...Thats next thing Iam affraid to use this block(5 * 1mains:rolleyes: )!?

BTW thank you for usefull input:)

next way..Can get Hyundai block with crank..how about this?? this block DOES NOT have oil squirts, and HAVE 2*2 and one journal main bearing CAPS!! its DOHC..

Iam thinking use my turbo 6Bolt short block taked out of my 90´awd..install Eagle crank ..and will be safe!!
and then use hyundai block with cuted 0.01" 6Bolt turbo crank install in my 90´awd for street fun...

Yeah don't mix and match main caps. Use the single main caps with the Kiggly girdle (or something of that sort) if you're worried. That should be a good solution. I'm using it on my stroker.
