yes i searched, and i even put a reply in the one thread but its been a day and no reply. i put a dynatek arc-2 on my 1g 91. i got it from this dude with an evo, so i had to wire it myself. i bypassed the power transistor altogether. it idles, but the car won't drive, so i looked at it further. if i pull a plug wire off at the spark plug, the coil will arc around where the plug wires go in, but deeper into the coil, or to the screws that hold the coils on the bracket. i tried 2 used coils, one was worse. i'm just wondering if i should get a brand new oem coil or just get some msd ones. i'd rather get oem if i could be sure that it won't arc on a brand new one. that and msd are a little cheaper of a solution, i would just need to mount them elsewhere. also i have the DIP switches set to re-strike and std. coil. if i put it on single fire it will barely run and arc on its own. i have pics of how i wired it below.

can no one offer any words on this? I just got a brand new coil pack and it still arcs and the car doesn't idle steady and it backfires when it's revved.
