Apexi Turbo timer

I got an Apexi Pen style turbo timer. It did not come with any harness, came with a black box with 2 clips of wires. one going to the pen, the other has 6 wires coming from it. grey with brown spots, white with brown spots, black with brown dots that are all roughly 4foot long. then has green, red, and blue short wires.

Now I have a 1g talon and found the hks harness works for the apexi and blitz. but when i looked at the pic of the harness it made no sense how it would connect to the timer. Really could use some help, sure its pretty simple

If you could post some pics I can tell you for sure . From what I found online...

Grey = parking break
White = 0/2 sensor wire
Black = Ground
Green = Primary ignition
Red = Constant 12 Volt source
Blue = Secondary ignition or accessory

Sorry its my own fault that I didnt post pics. Probably would have got a faster response. these are the best pics to show you what Im talking about.

The first is the box, with two sets of wires the one on the right goes to the pen. the others are in the other pics. the red, green and blue short wires and then the others are a bit longer but none match.

Just asking, but what picture of the harness are you looking at? From what site?

Basically a Google image search on "Apexi pen style turbo timer" But I have had experience with these before thats why I asked you post pics. From what I have seen it would be best if you searched by model number but I assumed you did that and turned up nothing. From what I posted it looks fairly correct and from what I have read it seems necessary to hook up an o/2 (At least to get A/F figures) wire but if thats the case Apexi should have the correct documentation for you as the wire colors vary slightly from model to model.

If they have nothing and your worried about messing something up you would be fairly safe to hook the black wire to ground, the red wire to a constant 12 volt source and the blue wire to ignition.

This will at least allow you to power it on and check that the turbo timer works correctly you could then measure the output on the green wire to make sure it is a 2nd ignition/Accessory wire.

You should be able to ground the parking brake to avoid having to set it to get the timer to work.

As for the 0/2 I have little information for.

And thanks I really appreciate it. This sounds like a fn headache but Im goin to do some research and buy a volt meter and see if I can get any more info. Im not 100% sure but i dont believe i have an O2 sensor. Im pretty sure its just got the bung with the filler cap twisted in. My cars tuned but with a borrowed a/f gauge from the guy I got it from. Its been at the body shop for about a month now so I havent been able to check for the little details.

I was going to say becasue if youre looking for a harness for the car, sometimes the pictures wont match but when you buy one they give you the right one. I just bought an HKS type 0 from extremepsi, and even though the picture didn't match the product I received, they gave me the right product. Sometimes the harness pictures online are just general pictures. Dont know if that helps or not but thats why I was asking if you were looking to buy a harness for the timer.
