I thought I would write a quick helpful guide for installing the Apexi Turbo Timer with A/F, O2 and Voltmeter.
Tools & Supplies:
Exacto Knife
Phillips Screw Driver
Pliars
Electrical Tape
MultiMeter
Flashlight
10 mm Ratchet
Steps:
1) Gather your parts: Open the box that contains the Turbo Timer and brake switch electrotap connector. You will also need the wiring harness for your vehicle. In my case I received the Greddy wiring harness which connects up to the Apexi unit with no problems.
2) Disconnect power: Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery using a 10mm ratchet.
3) Dissassemble the car: Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws holding on lower half plastic of the steering column. Remove the lower column cover to get access to the ignition wires. Next, remove the driver side of the center column inorder to gain access to the ECU. There is a single screw holding it in place. The screw is located in the foot well near the gas paddle. Use your phillips screw driver to remove it. There is also a plastic plug near the middle of the driver side that holds it in place. Over the plug is a cover, remove the cover, then pop the driver side console off. You just need to grab the console from the side and pull back wards to pop the plug off. The parking brake switch is located under the coin tray. The tray is held on with 4 metal clips which can be removed by swiftly pulling straight up.
4) Wiring Harness Connections: There should a 4x2 connector of thick wires coming off the end of the key assembly. Disconnect the connector from the key assembly. Take the wiring harness that came with your kit and plug the male connector into the female plug on the key assembly. Take the disconnected connector and plug it into the female plug of the wiring harness.
5) Parking Brake Connection: The parking brake switch can be identified as a black shiethed wire coming from the parking brake and has a connection to another wire that runs under the center dash. Using an exacto knife or other sharp device cut a section of the black shieth off, this should be about the same size removed as the electrotap connector. Run the "GREY" brake switch line from the Apexi Turbo Timer under the center console to underneath the coin tray opening (Note ensure the wiring does not tangle or interfere with anything). Using the electrotap and following the directions in the Apexi manual attach the GREY wire to the Parking Brake switch wire. Firmly clamp the electrotap using pliars till it locks in place. To ensure the connection was made, use a multimeter to test that there is a connection betwee both wires.

6) O2 wiring: The ECU is located behind the stereo head unit and the plugs can be accessed in the foot well from the driver side. There should be four plugs mounted vertically into the ECU. You need to remove the Top plug and the Bottom plugs. The Bottom plug will have the ground wire (Black wire with grey dots on my car). The Top plug will have the O2 voltage wire (white wire on my car). Look at the Apexi manual for the exact pin location. In my case the 2G pins are identified in diagram "M3-a". Once the correct pins are found, using an exacto knife, peel back the plastic covering the pin's wire by about 3 mm or so. Then take the appropriate wire from the Apexi Turbo Timer and peel the plastic covering the wire by about 5 mm or so (Black wire on the Apexi TT is for ground, White wire on the Apexi TT is for the O2) . Now wrap the wire from the Apexi TT around the ECU wire that was peeled back. Ensure it fully circles the wire and then using electrical tape, cover the connections to ensure there are no shorts. Do this for both the Ground and O2 pin wires of the ECU. Re-plug the ECU plugs that you removed.

7) Plug in the Apexi TT: Plug the Apexi TT into the harness that was connected previously. Now find a location to put the relay portion of the Apexi TT. I put mine up in the right most side driver side console. Also ensure Parking brake switch, ground, O2 and the Apexi TT Control unit are not in the way. Also depending on how you may want to mount the Control Unit, you may want to mount it now so the wires are as hidden as possible, in which case do step 9 now.
8) Reassemble the car: You may want to test the timer prior to assembly... but I choose not too. Reverse install the panels and coin tray.
9) Mount the Control Unit: Find a location that is view able while driving and mount the Control Unit using the provided double sided sticky tape from the kit. Remember if you mount it low on the center console to ensure it is still viewable when the gear shifter is in 1st gear.
10) Connect power: Reconnect negative terminal of the battery
11) Enjoy: Read the instruction manual on how to use the Turbo Timer and enjoy.
Note: This is just a guide based upon my experiences, and I am not responsible any damage that may result from using this guide. Always thoroughly read the instruction manuals.
