I recently bought a 98 GSX with alot of mods done to it, the car has been sitting for over 2 years as the original owner moved out of state and left the car in a warehouse. The Apexi Safc(1st Gen) completely Reset itself (Zeroed Out). I have no idea really how to tune with it i do not have a datalogger. My father owns a 90 GSX mostly stock and he doesnt really understand it either. The Car has 880CC injectors, a 20G turbo, Big cams And a 3IN exhaust. What are some good start settings for it as far as lo and Hi? Also Can u set a rev limiter with the apexi the car is currently at 7500.

thanks

Okay, first of all 880cc is WAY too big for an SAFC. The maximum injector size you can use is 660cc.

Second of all you need a wideband. You tune to air/fuel ratios according to that. A logger couldn't hurt anything.

Don't tune with it until you a wideband and new injectors.

Does it have a bigger fuel pump or any other supporting mods for the 20G turbo? You might need a bigger fuel pump and/or an AFPR.

yea I figured those 880's Were WAAAY to big it runs Rich as all get out, and yes walboro 255

I would get stock injectors. Hit up a junkyard and grab some. I would recommend cleaning them out a bit, that is going to be your cheapest option.

Does it have an AFPR since it has a 255 Walbro?

EDIT: and leave it zero'ed out if you get stock injectors. Also run low boost.
