APEXi SAFC II questions/help...

ok... make this quick.

i am getting really poor fuel economy. like 50Liters gives me 325km. feels like im running really rich or something isnt right.

i have 550cc denso injectors
255lph rewired fuel pump.
MAF-T with dials Zero'd out, and set to 3" GM MAS and 550cc.

i just bought a Apexi SAFC 2.

I havent installed it yet... it is still in the box, but reading the instrucions for my car it says my mitsubishi preset maps are for a karman vortex MAS setup (stock) is there anything i need to adjust or do differently if i have a MAF-T instead of a stock MAS?

and also..

i can wire it no problem... but after that once the power is on, i have no idea what the settings mean, how to start or even get started, what to look for, how to log/view and just general operation of basic tuning and furthermore....

im running a evo3 16G, mbc @ 16lbs, large FMIC, Blitz BOV, SS tubular exhaust mani, SS o2, ss 3" back with no cat.

The MAF translator emulates the stock MAS so use the stock settings on the SAFC.

Change your settings to :
Sensor Type: Karman
Cyl: 4
Throttle : arrow towards NE (basically up)

Lo and Hi: You must get a datalogger to tune these. Follow the tech articles to do so. Most common Th points are at the thousands and half way marks. Also, Since your MAF-T is semi-compensating for your injectors, plug your logger in (do you have wideband) and see if you can lean her out a bit. Chances are you are still running pig rich. DO NOT go mroe than -5% lean if you do not have a logger/WB.
