I saw the ad in vendor announcements for 2g suspension on sale so I ordered it, after trying to get in touch and find out were my stuff is and get my money back I get this..

Hi Maranda, I'm sad to tell you that this item has been sold out. The manufacturer does not haveany more in stock either. They are estimating they will have more by end ofMarch or Early April. Please let me know if you would like to wait, if not, I will get your refundissued. Sorry for the delay! We had one in stock for a long time, and then all of asudden it sold, and we got a bunch of orders for it :) Thanks, and please let me know... Dan

Then I email back days later since the bank said they havent sent it and get this.

Maranda,
I have put it into the system, but it happens with the bank, it could take a day or two to process.
Thanks.

My question is if they didnt have any in stock why did they have a sale on them and run it under vendor announcements when they didnt even have any. Im pissed this is ridiculous. I have filed a claim with my bank and spoke with my local better buisness bureau on a coarse of action. Do they do this all the time? I have waited and waited and want my d@mn money back like I have emailed them over and over, this is stupid. :notgood:
I was wondering why they didn't have a phone number to reach them at and I guess now I know why. My bank told me who to talk to about internet fraud to file charges on them so if it isnt resolved today thats what im going to do. Why my last post about this got deleted I dont understand does dsmtuners condone this form of buisness????

This means that they sold all of their inventory during the sale, and had none left in stock. It's also an option for a vendor/distributor to have a part dropshipped from the manufacturer directly to the customer. This is a common practice for anyone in the industry.

So, if the part is not in stock, a dropship order is generated. If the manufacturer is out of stock as well, then it's put on backorder. Orders don't cancel themselves - once YOU place an order, it will remain on order until YOU cancel/receive the order. He even presented you with the option. What in the world do you think they did wrong here?

I assume this is regarding a refund? If so, then this can be true.
Many banks don't work as fast as the person that issued the refund. There can be a 2-3 day "hold" (not charge) on the funds. This is the fault of your bank, not your vendor.

If you'd take the time to read through the rules here, you'd notice that posting vendor complaints is against our rules Rule #1: DSM Forums - FAQ: Site Rules & Guidelines

If you'd like to voice your complaint, then use the proper venue: Welcome to Vendors-Reviewed

Personally, judging solely off his first e-mail that you have posted, it looks like they are conducting their business properly, and you just don't understand how it work. This is why we don't allow vendor complaints - becuase it's not always the vendors fault.

And do NOT start another thread about this, or your account will be suspended.
Feel free to PM me with any other questions/concerns regarding this.
