I have one i just put on recently. Only bad thing about it is you have to tap every hole to make it fit the bolts. Every one of them. Other than that its great. And the flapper opens all the way unlike the stock one. Good buy for the price. Dont forget to use anti seize too.

So youre saying they arent tapped at all? Or tapped for a different size. The one review i saw said ther were tapped to a 1.5 thread

Or you could have just ordered some grade 11 m10x1.5 bolts..

I am currently running it and its really nice. It actually came with all the bolts. They are the 1.5mm pitch. Justin uses those, i bought a rebuilt turbo from him and that housing came on it. Previously i rebuilt an E316g and bought the housing off ebay and like i said it came with the bolts and im currently running it and using the bolts with no issues at all. No boost creep with it either.

Edit - I just read the description and it says comes with bolts LOL

It opens more? I haven't heard that. Link?

I've been using the turbo lab turbine housing for over a year now, I was sent the housing with the 1.5 thread pitch. I just bought 1.5 thread pitch grade 8 bolts, and installed it.
I took my manifold off a couple months ago to wrap my o2 housing. None of the bolts were loose, or stripped.

Below is a link to some information on the pro's and cons of, coarse vs. fine thread pitch.

Ever test to see exactly how far the stock actuator moves from full-closed to fully-open? About 5/16". A flapper that moves any further than that is 100% meaningless. :)

Flapper just has to release air so JusMx is right as usual.

This is a good budget hotside for anyone with cracks regardles of the flapper hype.
