Any rebuild kits to do an engine rebuild for 98 gst

So I have a 98 gst with a blown head gasket so I might as well do a rebuild since I’m going to take the engine apart so I know already have to replace the water pump and timing belt so that dosent have to be included in the “kit”

We've already mentioned the head gasket needs to be diagnosed. There are multiple ways for coolant to enter the oil. What are the symptoms of the car? Does it even run?
I would diagnose before planning repairs unless you're just going towards another goal.

if you just have blown head gasket you only have to take timing side and head off, there's no need to rebuild the whole engine cuz you are not taking the whole car apart
your timing should be fine if you rotate the engine to tdc and all timing marks align and you're able to push that pin back in the hydraulic tensioner. and of course if everything else look like they're not worn out, normally they last good approx 5years/+100K miles

you don't even have to replace timing parts unless it's close time to be replaced, rebuild is not just slapping parts together.
it includes measuring and close inspection.

Answering to your question, there is no "kit" for this, except ebay and off-brands which you don't wanna use on this type of stuff. you pretty much have to get everything separately from webpages as stm tuned, extreme psi etc.

My recommendation is; try to get a source what cause your head gasket to blow before ordering any parts. and keep everything organized once that's done get it fixed if have to, and then buy a new upper gasket set and headbolts, just clean everything well, torque everything in the spec and replace timing components if you need to

remember, don't install mls gasket, that includes both surfaces being milled straight and that would mean basically a whole rebuild

these are my instructions, someone else might do it in a different way
