Rebuild Kits

I am very new to DSMs but expieranced with motors primarily 1.9L DOHC Saturn LL0s. I am looking for a rebuild kit for a 6bolt 4g63T I would like to do a .030 bore.

Can anyone suggest good brands to go with as far as parts or a good company/website to get a complete kit?

One brand I have been looking at is Topline. Never heard of them before but, then again I have been working an American car that has not shit in the aftermarket.

Best advice is to use the search button through this website and start doing some research... This along with many other quesitons have been asked over and over again... also check through the vendors..

"Best" can depend on what your looking to do as far as goals...

Stock rebuild.. OEM is best.

For Horsepower rebuild.. the possibilites are endless

Pistons .030" over
Rings
Connecting Rods
Complete set of Gaskets
Bearings
Main Seals

I want to do the .030 over to sure up my clearances and for later horsepower goals.

Get on Advance Auto's Website (Advance Auto Parts) and look up the rebuild kit.... when i worked there about a yr and a half ago felpro had rebuild kits where the more popular engines such as a sb 350 or a 4g63... but as far as the head gasket get a stainless steel one the 4g63t's eat thru them like no other especially when they r modded.

Not all ,but most piston over sizes i've seen are .020,.040 and .060 oversizes so pay close attn to what you're buying befor you run to the machine and punch it .030 over.
