Any HV oil pumps other than the TOGA?

Has anyone found a high volume oil pump other than the TOGA? I found a post from someone that measured a TOGA and found it had the same specs as an OEM.

People usually have too high of oil pressure in the upper rpms with the balance shaft removed, worse so with the squirters removed. I know its common place on small block chevys, but I've heard of only one guy using a toga pump, and it failed.

I'm with them, why do you think you need it?

OEM pump, OEM gears. Do NOT use an aftermarket pump on a high-RPM race engine or it WILL fail on you. They may be fine for daily-drivers, but for race cars you must use an OEM pump.

I've just usually liked HV oil pumps so I don't have to worry about oil starvation for whatever reasons. I'm building a 4g64 wideblock with a 1g 4g63 head for my Starion so I appreciate the oil pump info.

Well, here's how it would work then. A high volume pump would send a greater volume of oil to the cylinder head (which is known for it's poor draining ability), and so you'd have more oil up top where you don't need it, which equals a greater chance of starving the pick-up under heavy acceleration and high RPM.

HV pumps just don't have a place in the 4G63 world. An OEM pump/cover is the best solution for any wet sump DSM.
