Any 2g MAS upgrades available other than MAFT?

I was running a 3" gm mas and maft but dotn like it, wont get into that.

I am now back on the stock 2g mas and loving it, however next summer I may run some propane or water injection and up the boost. So I am worried I will overrun the 2g mas.

Is there anything out there for me? Using DSMlink to tune.

Currently nothing exists. Get the MAFT to work right or you're out of luck, at the moment.

I'll be in the possible over run range here in a few weeks. I would also like to avoid goiung the the maft, even though lots of people have got it to work fine. I was thinking of hacking the maf (and using the hacked maf option on the link) or just clamp off the signal where it gets over run in the link and tune it with the tables. Plus, both of those items are free :)

What about a VPC? You can get them relatively cheap nowadays.

The VPC is junk by itself, once you start using a proper system to tune (like DSMLink) it just gets worse. I would say it's not even an option for consideration.

Yeah after going through all the threads on dsmlink I have found Im not the only one by far. I thought AGP was designing some kind of sensor for us?

What are you getting at?

Gee, thanks for the valuable input. He was asking a question, and I answered it. I think everything else in my post will show you what i am getting at. Maybe your reading comprehension skills are on par with your boost/rpm estimations.

98Tsi- Your recent post on the link forums have really made up my mind about avoiding the translator. It seems like you have to make similar adjustments whether you are hacking the maf or installing the translator anyways, so i just cant bring my self to spend the extra 3 bills. Maybe Dave and Thomas will find a way to incorporate the ls1 maf better than the translator does.

Yeah I cant wait for the update to V2 to be done and out. Any you are right, if you can just hack the stock mas and then calibrate it to read properly in dsmlink, what is the point of wasting $300+.

Plus I believe there are defasult settings already in the app for a "hacked" 2g mas. That will be my first option to see if i am happy with it or not.
