corey, well to be fair the 22 degree's was at 6000 rpm, with all sliders zeroed out ( fuel and timing )

essentially running stock timing for a 1g along with stock fuel numbers, just... minus 44% duty cycle.

Have you got any suggestions for working with forcing a slightly leaner than stoich at cruise?

reducing timing wouldnt help i dont think... advancing might but im unsure of how these ecu's add or remove fuel if its flat based on 1.0 lambda or if its based on load also

you can force a leaner idle and cruise mixture by inputing your desired afr in the DA maps

well that sounds easier then i thought... i was initially dreading having to deal with the top and such

Its really easy, no sweat. I removed the trunk panel leading to the front, well more like a piece of heavy board, but anyway, after jacking up the car a bit, standing on either side with the trunk open you can feel for the nuts ( oooo that sounded dirty! ). But dont let the convertible intimidate you in anyway, you should have no issues.:sneaky:

thanks!

i really need to start looking at all the pages instead of blindly asking these questions, really feeling noobed right now.

man im so glad that i have internet while at class.... this class sucks, group dynamics is garbage

wow augustines 16g took way longer than it should have.

Well at least it's done. Got home alright with no problems man. Also remember I asked about Mikes stuff? Do you think I could come get it tomorrow? (well more like later today)

after you left I remembered about it.

you can swing by any time after 5 just let me know when you are on your way.:thumb:

Part of the problem is that FFWD doesn't sell IC piping and thats where you bought the "install kit" from. I'm guessing they just assume, which they shouldn't have, that you'd have the IC piping already figured out by either getting an aftermarket FMIC setup or purchasing a j-pipe seperately. I wish you would have asked about where to get the kit because RRE sells one (which has EVERYTHING) for $195 and they're about 60 miles away from you. ROFL

I'm sure Kris hooked it up with some Billy Boat engineering but when you fix your compressor housing to accomodate the wastegate bolts and can actually build boost, you should also get an actual j-pipe IC pipe setup for a 2g SMIC.

:dsm:

Actually the ic piping seemed to take the least time. I only bought bolts from ffwd. The original plan was to install the 16g with the vr speed front mount and j pipe I have

I was able to build about half a psi though LOL

Hey now, theres nothing wrong with a t25, im sporting a beast of a t25 right now... its making me proud, and i will be trying to toss it into something else first chance i get

There was definitely something wrong with mine

considering there is no wastegate on it right now and he can only build about .5psi im sure it hauls the mail.

This is true LOL. I'll see about getting it welded soon. So is it ok then if I stop by right around 5 then?

Dont do it... he always said that to me and then i was either waiting for him, or calling him up and having to wake him out of a deep slumber.....MUAHAHAHAHAHA
