........and thats what happened LOL

you guys suck... no wonder Im so damn ugly you guys always interupt my beauty sleep.:nono:

NLTS wire and new map installed... need to get bung welded into pipes and dump this maf.

inlet to a 14b//20g are all the same correct? with the rubber donut thing 2.5 inch inlet works fine correct?

btw is anyone else going to Barona this weekend?

2 pm open gates, 3 pm tech, 4 pm start racing. open untill " 10 pm " i have that in quotes because it almost always goes untill midnight

14b 16g 20g 2.25'' inlet size inner diameter 2.5 inch outer diameter kthnx. Hey gufi there is a blue cobra on e85 going to the eastlake meets. Do u know the owner? 525 whp 500 something tq

Im sure he does, unless its running on a passenger front donut, then i know who that one is... LOL

could be a few people honestly i know of two blue cobras however i dont know what they are running for fuel or mods.

one guy i know runs c16 in his... but he may have made the switch to e-85 because its cheaper.

one is owned by a guy that goes by Jose, but its a full out drag car i think? mebbe not.

many of the mustang guys will put down stupid power with a blower and never even take it to the track but then again the rest will make retarded power and demolish the track. mustang guys are kinda like dsmers... cheap, iffy and many do not make any sense at all.

LOL well it might be that Jose guy but im not sure. It seems like a street car though. He goes to the local wednesdays meet. You should come out since its down the street from your house if you are down for it. I just wonder how our DSMs would do against that kind of car in a race since out of all the people I think you would have a good idea. All I know is that it raced an evolution and the evo got smoked from a roll but not by much.

LOL Your last line was pretty funny. Totally described EL VERGE RACING !

theres a car meet down there? when/where i might show up to just make fun of some people...

and that blue car... i know a buddy of mine that definatly knows him. but then again ithink he knows every one in san diego that has a mustang.

Yes last night there was a meet at Regal Cinema off Rancho del Rey. It got pretty packed last night with a full parkinglot. My dsm was the only one there with 2 inch thick dust and dirt hah. Golfer and everyone else should come also if time and lady girl permits. I will announce where the next meet is going to be. Or have our own meet, bringing our computers to show and compare logs and talk about tuning.

hell dude, if you wanna do that just come on over. i have about 40 logs LOL... none of which have any WOT runs on any gear except 3rd to 6 grand.

although the 14b and stock intake don't make much if any power above that.

or some of you could come to Barona this weekend.

WOOT! my 20g came in today

td06 compressor housing witha td05h turbine, ported 7 cm with 34mm flapper, upgraded bearing with the extra oiling holes

I'd go and hangout for a bit, I've been so busy trying to get my cars loose ends tied up before MOD I don't really have a free night.

I'm not familiar with any blue Mustang but there was a red GT that was supercharged and running slicks at Barona when I went. He was running 7.5X's @ 90-95mph and I overheard him saying he was 500whp too, not sure ALL that was done to the car though.

I logged on specifically to say something about upgrading that 14b gufi. Then i saw ## edit. Welcome to the 20g club yours should outflow mine. That 34mm flapper sounds awesome, I was looking for a hotside with an internal setup like that but couldn't find anything. I'm down to check out logs I'm just a lil busy these days with paperwork.

LOL well about the slowbra, a friend got offended for me calling the mustang owner a ####y for not running from a dig. I guess the moral of the story is not talk trash on-line but only behind the scenes after the curtains close and to people you know that won't flip 180 degrees on u. Idk why people take this car crap seriously, I do it for the fun of it and try not to lose track of where the fun begins and ends. Anyway, well mark next Wednesday night for the meet. Or we could make our own this weekend or something, this way it won't be getting mixed up with the ridiculous ricers out there.

This Slow-bra? Last I heard/knew his personal best was a 7.761 @ 89mph with a 1.8 60ft.

Yea looks like thats the slowbra I saw yesterday. All those cylinders to run a 7.7? I think I still have footage of last years mustangs vs the world there at barona. All in the low 6s, couple into 5s. But again not daily driven and most likely wouldn't whip around a turn without going off course into the bushes if it were a roadcourse where it would require more than planting ## foot on the gas to go fast to claim kingdom. I also remember a red one kenny belled 11psi 200 shot that was hard to beat till it blew up back in the 1g days, now that was fast. or that red c5 convertible with dual stage nitrous setup no one dared race a few years back during the fusion cafe days, super cocky guy claiming vipers were a joke and when it came to it they proved it. What happened to it ? Idk my observation is that all fast cars that are fast for their category 100+ hp per cylinder blow up sooner than later. 10 years of observation

Hat dayum. Well that's more like it, twin turbo stang pushing some air per cylinder compared to what our engines flow. Speaking of such numbers I just remembered of a local Talon let's see if he is willing to come out and show off his setup. Let alone if he didn't get restationed out of Cali. X )

100+hp per cylinder in El Diablo and shes still got the stock 7-bolt CRANKWALKING bottom end and stock frame turbo. WOOP WOOP.

I don't think I was at "Stangs Against the World" when I was at Barona running with just my girlfriend and a camera. But, the fastest Mustang that DROVE there was running high 7.5's @ 90mph and it had a set of slicks he put on before he made his way out of the pits. I had a good time since I got a chance to line up next to a black Saleen with nitrous and slicks and beat it to the finish line with my street tires under the car, I hope I surprised him.

I don't know for sure Nito but in my experience working on, modifying, and racing DSM's I've realized that the ones that build their car themselves are the ones who are passionate about the sport. The ones that throw money at their car, whatever platform it may be, paying for parts and overpriced labor from shops just want BIG NUMBERS. Once the car breaks because it is doing over 100+ hp a cylinder they get fed up and part it, then move on. I know I'm generalizing immensely here but thats more than likely what happened to those cars that fell off the face of the earth from back in the day. As for myself, I will more or less be buried in my DSM, too much blood, sweat, tears, and love go into it daily to just "give up".

Factory 7 bolt pushing over 100 hp+ per cylinder for how long actually using the power? Then take a built engine and push 100+ hp for how long? Same thing, stuff fails at a more rapid rate. Im sure we can take all our experiences and observations, put them together and come up with a solid statistical and empirical evidence about the longetivity of "X" engine pushing "X" percentage of its rated limits along with pinpointing the very important variables such as a proper tune and adjustments to the tune as they are needed. Anyway, I feel the important things arent addressed in a collective fashion here like they should in San Diego section at least, all i get are facepalm comments like the ones I make about buschur power.

What is the measurement of your crank movement? I have that 7 bolt crank that was nicked slightly by a rod as it flew out so i dont think its good anymore but who knows? Im not a machine shop. It never walked and was in perfect working condition, you can have it if you can use it. If you could use it and just throw in some stronger rods while in there and call it a rebuild? Im sure banished has a few cranks laying around though also if you suspect it walking away completely. Then again what am typing trying to mention this as i know you guys ###### exacerbated the idea of building a shortblock for your car time and again.

My stock 7-bolt made 440/390 long enough to make an 11.6 @ 121mph pass at Fontana while still continue to hold up to daily driving everyday. :sneaky:

Thanks for the offer but I've already got a 7-bolt crank collection in my garage, ones a stock 88mm and the other a 100mm. A 7-bolt 2.3 build is in the works, I just need to get the ball rolling and actually get the parts I need to do it and have it assembled.
