Check out this idea I have for my battery relocation kit. I think this will be good because I won't have to worry about somebody turning off my kill switch ( Either to mess with me or to steal my car) because I will have an alternate power route that will bypass the kill switch. When using as my daily driver I will turn the kill switch off and remove the key, then have my second 150A breaker working. When at the track I will just pop the breaker and turn my kill switch on so it will be legal (and work like it is supposed to.) Does anyone see any problems with this setup?

The NHRA may have some trouble with your setup. According to their rules, the switch in question must not be a key-activated switch; it must be a rotary-type or pull-type knob. My store actually sells a decent kill switch, but the only problem is it has a removable red plastic key. I think the NHRA's major issue with it is that the key may fall out going down the track and cause a hazard, OR that the key may fall out and your car might start on fire, and then they wouldn't be able to find the key to disable your battery, or something along those lines.

But with this key style (like the Hella switch,) the key can only come out when in the OFF position. Has anybody really had some trouble passing tech with this style? Otherwise, my setup would work just fine right?
