I had the flanges laying around from a header I cut up that was junk. I decided why not and started in on my own header and here's what I've got so far any input on how it looks and maybe some ideas to make it better or just to leave it. It is all made fromm 304 stainless flanges included.

looks good so far, so don't stop now keep at it and keep the pics coming. I love manifold build threads :D :thumb:

Sweet ill finish it up soon. I have to order a few more weldables to finish it up. From what I measured on the pacesetter manifold that's on my car the manifold im making drops the turbo down and brings it out some. So clearence on the water pipe is much nicer with my td06 20g. And im sure if I go larger it'll help with fitment on something bigger.

Sweet looking welds. Why are the welds on the pipe shiny (Shielded by argon) and the weld on the collector-flange was more gray/dull (not shielded enough?). Can someone explain this for me?

I probably welded too hot on the flange with It being 3/8 thick. I could have turned my argon flow up just a touch to help. When you weld stianless too hot it turns that dull gray color.

Ok thanks. I wasn't sure because most of the welds I have been doing on stainless are dull but don't have too big of a HAZ. Just trying to learn.
