This is terrible, with my mods I should have definately bought an aftermarket intercooler a while back, but I'm just now getting around to it. I was wondering if any of you own or have experience with the Dejon Tool intercoolers. I was thinking about getting the Super Big side mount here side mount (about half way down page) or the street front mount here fmic (first picture). Which one is better, is either worth it, and does anyone know what the front mount is rated at?(horsepower wise). Thanks in advance.

yeah i believe its rated at 400hp and thats perfect for just street use. . umm now that we are talking about intercoolers I found the Apex Gt intercooler quite nice? but am not to sure on what the hp rateing is on that. I understand that it is a small intercooler but thats fine with me because if i go to big with an intercooler does that pressure drop? oh well i have found a kit with everything for around 500 bucks. so good hunting. :thumb:

400 horsepower is enough for me, but I was wondering if anyone knows how much the front mount I posted is rated at too. It seems like its not made as good being 2 stock ones welded together, and I could custom make a heat shield to protect the side mount from engine heat, so would that be good?

I just took my car for a ride to see if I had my boost set where I wanted it so I drove it pretty hard, when I got back I felt my upper intercooler pipe and it was pretty cool. Does this mean my intercooler is doing it's job for the time being? Like if it wasnt cooling air very good the UICP would be hot right?

might I suggest the Supra Sidemount intercooler. I love mine, and they are capable of taking about 450 horsepower. They can be found from 100-150$ and are worth every penny. Felt a nice HP gain, even on my tiny little T25. :)

Is the Install Difficult? I heard that it was a real pain in the ass. But im always looking for a new challenge.

it takes some time but it is not bad at all. Mine fits perfectly and it looks like it came that way from the factory.
