all black interior? is it available?

ok guys i have a 95 with the blah grey interior, just got black leather seats console and sills out of a donor, still looking for dash, my question is... is there an all black interior from the factory? some one told me the 99s came with all black ,carpets and all plastics no grey what so ever,and now i had some one told me the 99s with black interior still had grey plastics on the dash and carpet and headliner was grey? im looking to get as much black as possible that the factory offered, just dont wanna waste my time looking for something that dont exist, any help would be swell ,im new to the dsm scene and lookin to gussy up my gst a lil bit thx guys

There's no black carpet; there's no black head-liner, and there's no black glove-boxes or the panel underneath the steering wheel. Nor the kick-panels were ever black.

see im getting mixed reviews, ive been told that just the 99 gsxs had all black, im not having much luck tracking the stuff down, so far i got black leather front and rear only paid 100$ for the whole set just ordered a used set of 99 all black door panels off ebay, got the door sills ,center console, rear lower plastics, just need a dash, so is that all the plastics available in black from the factory or is there more? what about the trunk stuff?

From stripping out my cars, it looked like the back stuff is the same for gray and black interiors.

He's telling you to listen to me. If you don't want to believe me, march into a dealer's parts department and ask them for the parts in black that I told you don't exist. There's your 'concrete answer'. They'll back up everything I am saying. And the trunk-area was only gray or tan.

There were NEVER any full black interiors.

There were several shades of gray (including the carpet) but the previous post is correct in that the carpet, headliners, trunk panels, were never black.

damn that sucks!!! could you imagine the money you could make if you could replicate the stock interior panels in black? wish i had a plastic injection machine and the molds from the factory peices every one on here would probbly buy a complete set of black plastics if u could recreate them

The only ALL Single Color interior color for 2gs is the slate blue. Even the the carpeting and trunk.

interior looks nice man, but im not painting crap next thing ya know it scratches/flakes off dont care how much u prep it or sand it yada yada it could still get scratched and look like doo doo , ill stick with the black and grey looks nice any how, as far as marching in too satans layer i wouldnt go to the dealor if it was the last place on earth to ask them anything

As he just said, his entire interior is black and he bought it like that, so there u have it that's y I'm confused,but how ever I did call satan today and asked them to pull up a interior diagram up for a 99 gsx (being the best model available) and the dude said no listings for any black trunk plastics b pillar window plastics,hatch plastics, or lower dash plastics, so I dunno I'm sooooo lost WTF

JFZERO's pictures is how it came. There were no ALL black interiors. Trunk area is either gray or tan (unless jfzero can vouch that the net and carpet are stock that way), headliner, carpet, visors, glove box, lower dash trim and the sides of the center console are either gray or tan. Everything else can be in black.

The net's only came in black, but the trunk carpet came in blue, gray, and beige.

You can allways dye it the way I posted. That method allows the dye to soak into the pores of the plastic. There will not the same issues of chiping or dye transfer using spray paint or sprayon dye

So you don't really know that some of your panels are dyed or painted.

Here is an OEM "all-black" interior. Nothing is painted. As you can see, many parts are gray. The black floor mats are aftermarket. OEM floor mats never came in black either.

My trunk carpeting was done in black by the previous owner...Also the cargo net is black...
All trunk plastics for grey interior are well...grey...and se is the carpeting....

I cannot vouch for the blue interior, as I've never seen it...

I painted on my car any dash panels that were grey. painted the carpet and the floor mats..., also on my car any kind of plastic cover/clips that were visible were also painted black

Mah hahahahahaha!!!!! I'm annoying now? Way to chime in 10 post later any who I took my headliner down today and took it too get reupholstered along with the visors I took apart, I tryed that rit dye stuff and boiling the clips and bezels for the mirrors on the visors and sunroof switch bezel and the stuff worked like a charm ill jeep u guys updated on how it works for the rest of my grey plastics
