Depends on which adapter you bolt on the MAF. I don't think there is one that attaches directly to the 2G MAF without an adapter.

I don’t think the big wide k&n(first picture) works in the 1g engine bay. If I recall correctly it’s too big. (If you giggle you’re a terrorist.)

On mine the filter generally had to be the cone style and no longer than like 5-6”. (😑)

meh, you constantly see those big supras running the short mushroom filters. There might be two of them but each one is pretty small -- plenty of airflow to be had from a short filter.
The only thing I noticed from running a gigantic one on my 2g compared to half the size on my 1g is the sucking sound is more pronounced on the long filter. And that's entirely turbo-based. It was loud on my b16g but is less than half the volume on the 68htav3.

I had planned on using a Injen 2g air intake on my 1g, along with a 2g MAF. Does anyone know the K&N part number for the filter that will fit? I dont guess it has to be K&N if someone suggests something else.
I ended up just getting filters directly from Injen themselves. They still sell them on their site from what I know.
