custom air intake

i ordered the piping to get the air filter out of the engine bay, i would just like to see what you guys have done for ideas.

I used a 3" 90 degree intercooler piping from extreme psi and routed it to the fender well with a k&n filter. I have speed density so no maf was used. Works great. Ambient temp is udually within 10 degrees.

Really simple mod yet helps tremendously. Only issue is when it rains and u drive over a puddle. Hydrolock.

Carbon fiber box that encloses a K&N filter. It has to draw in air from the oem snorkel, and the opening to the passenger wheel well.

Looks nice. What type of airflow and coolant temps are u seeing at cruise?

I know the feeling..... 7yrs..

Nice box, plan to do the same but add nipples to the box to draw in crank case pressure and possibly recirculate.

Not nearly that simple. Haggard garage did a video where they took a garden hose and sprayed it right into the filter. Nothing happened.
