This is a very vague question. All I can tell you is that the 16g makes a lot more noise than the t-25. Are you sure it isnt the normal spooling sound of a larger than stock turbo?

I Agree, is this the first time you have had a car with a 16g?

im sure. It sounds almost like a belt. You can hear it a little at idle but when you rev it, it sounds kinda bad(not the good bad)

Your descrition is still kinda vague. At this point, I am not even going to try and lead you in any particular direction. All I can tell you is to check for boost leaks, go back over every step of your install, and recheck every connection. From your description, it can be anything from a cracked vac line to a failing harmonic balancer.

i also have a clicking and i heard something like the bolt to the feed is too long and sometimes needs to be shaved down. Is that true?

Nothing needs to be shaved if you used oem banjo bolts. If they were off brand that were too long and it has gotten to the point of clicking, the turbo is already shot.

Are you sure that the harmonic balancer isnt dying along with a failed cv joint which is causing the whining, squeeling, and clicking?

Again, you are asking vague questions. Now, let me clear this up for you. Where exactly are these noises coming from? Have you gotten under the hood during the sounds and verified that it is coming from the turbo? Did you install a gasket on the j-pipe where it connects to the turbo? Is it an MHI turbo or a knockoff? Have you performed a boost leak test? Have you used the search option on DSMTuners, com? And lastly, did you read http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35029&highlight=Vague+question

Ok i the turbo is whining not the harmonic balancer...its definitly from the turbo. There was a little clicking noise as well. When revd the noise increases directly with the rpms. I primed it by pulling the engine fuse and turning it over but i think it may not have been primed properly. I connected my boost lines from the bov to the wga so i should be running stock boost. I took it around the block to experience wot. Got 10-11 (expected) lbs. Sure didn't feel like it though. When i parked after driving it less than 2 minutes i popped the hood and some smoke came from the turbo. You could actually hear the center section boiling on the inside(###### just the coolant...but after 2 minutes). I just figured i'd put this one to the side and work on it later so i bought a new one from extreme psi with the ported & upgraded flapper package.
