Ok before i decide. I have a built head. I am wanting to install some custom ground camshafts Befo.re i have the company grind my camshafts i was thinking on going a 272/264 profile. which side would i need to run larger? my valves are 2mm larger than stock andi am running a holset h1c twin scroll.

Who are you having grind your cam shafts. If the person you are having do the work has any idea what your goals are or what you have for intake/exhaust manifold they should be the ones to talk to. Why did you put such a large valve in and how does the port work look? It would require a ton of port work to get a 2mm os valve to work well. We do custom ground Crane camshafts and we could help with the profile design. There is a ton more to it than just "264/272's"

Some people like the 264/272 setup as it was kind of popular 10 years ago, but anymore the 272 is the way to go with the h1c. I would start looking at your hotside. It looks like your running the stock turbine housing. I would get those cams ground at 272 and run a b/p hotside to help with the spool. Larger cams= slower spool but if you tighten the hotside up it will help a lot.

Hope they changed all the valve seat inserts in the head, the factory seat inserts will not cut to take a +2mm os valve.

If the throat was not cut open to the larger valves, then there will be minimal airflow gain.

Yeah all of the seats are new and the valves fit very good. rather large valves if u ask me but they turned out amazing ill post a pic of my head porting i was thinking on delta but if a company can help me out id give 2 sets of 2g 4g63 cams and 1 set of evo 3 cams. And sport the company name on my car and at local events for a sponsorship

And im not looking to rev over 8k this 2.4 stroker will have a more lower to midrange powerband than up top. id like to keep it between 3k-7k if possible.and yes its factory twin scroll exhaust side.
