Doing the VFAQ Lifters Cleaning I have moved both the intake and exhaust camshafts (via 17mm Wrench on the sprockets) in order to pull/install lifters..well I am done with the pulling part and plan on installing the new cleaned lifters tomorrow..I was wondering by adjusting the camshafts have I screwed up the timing?

yes, look at how adjustable camgears work, they rotate the camshaft slightly, if you rotated it a lot, i dont know how to get it back,... but maybe someone else can help you, i would suggest not starting your car til someone who has done that before responds...

If you've followed vfaq you're fine. You can rotate the camshafts all you want with the timing belt on, if it's off -- make sure pistons are away and don't forget to align timing MARKS. You can not change/screw timing by doing this.
I'm just not sure what you mean by "adjusting the camshafts" -- you mean moving the whole thing with a wrench or you have adjustable camgears (those two big sprockets, t-belt goes over them)? You should not adjust them if you don't know anything about them, and if you don't know their original offset don't start the car. Depending on your setup you might have to reset them and retune later.
If you have plain sprockets you're good to go.

Ok..the timing belt was never removed and I have the stock cams...I simply rotated it with a 17mm wrench so that the cam lobs would be out of the way to remove the lifters.
