Ok so I went to my mechanic and he didn't do a good job explaining what was wrong, I took a look at the diagnostic review and it said camshaft off 180 degrees. So I took some pictures Is this what it looks like if you jumped the timing and if it looks bad how to fix??? Can I do it my self or is it fine and it might be something else???/ take a look please thank you. And the compression test came back 150 150 120 120 Is the engine messed up for good and should I look into getting a replacement??

150 150 120 120 shows some considerable wear on cylinders 3 and 4 i wouldn't say the engine is bad but it has some bad wear on those cylinders. And if your timing is off you need to get the timing back to TDC just put both the dowel pins pointing straight up and make sure the make crank is at TDC as well. VFAQ shows how to do it.

Timing Belt VFAQ

now set teh crank at TDC (line up teh marks) and reinstall timing belt. Check that everything is still ined up after u apply tension to teh belt.

thanks so much, now should I tighten it when they line up, put a 16m wrench on both and pull towards each other is that how you tighten it so it does loosen up and jump again???

Use 2 wrenches i think they are 17's on the cam gear bolts and use them to line up the tick marks.Make sure the crank is at tdc get the belt on.Compress and pin the tensioner.Push the tensioner pully against the belt and tighten it.Turn the crank over a few times by hand.Loosen the tensioner pully 1/4 turn after you turn it over a few times.Push the tensioner tight again.Tighten it,Unpin the tensioner, check all of the timing marks and get done with it.It goes something like that......
