I'm so confused right now and I have been searching all night for answers. why are some companies like scat and others listing Rods with a Big End Width of: 1.038 for use in a 6 bolt motor instead of the 1.115 BEW as it should be? Going way out of spec does not seem like soothing you pay for...

Sounds like maybe they are listing them incorrectly, or they are using the wrong wording. They should be listed as using a "2g / 7 bolt piston, 22mm pin" with a 6 bolt BEW. Or perhaps they are meaning to use a 21mm pin'd piston with a 2g crank? Who's rods are listed as "for a 6 bolt" but with the BEW measurements of the 7 bolt crank?
