2G Aftermaarket throttle body question

What is the best aftermarket throttle body for my 95 GST with only an aftermarket air filter and exhaust?

Why do you feel you need an aftermarket throttle body?

The only 'aftermarket' ones are stock ones that are bored or larger ones (Q45, Mustang, etc.). The best would be to upgrade to a 1g and port your intake manifold. The 2g has a 52mm opening and the 1g has a 60mm.

My opion would be to leave your throttle body stock, The t25 turbo will not see a differnce, its a little turbo. Your throttle body should be 57mm, thats plenty for that turbo.

what size throttle body are you looking for... you should just do a 1g throttle body swap there a lot bigger then the 2g throttle body

A 1g throttle body is 60mm.

2g throttle body is 52mm and 1g TB is 60 mm. There are not really "aftermarket" throttle bodies for these cars just bigger stock ones(1g TB, you can bore out the 2g TB, q45 TB, mustang TB)

I would stick to a bored 2g or 1g throttle body if this is a street car. Remember that a larger throttle body wont do jack if you dont port match the intake manifold.

so after you do the 1g throttle body swap you minus well get a 1g intake but then again the ports on the 2g head do not match the 1g intake so you should just buy a 1g complete head with throttle body and intake..

Get the 1g, port the 2g intake manifold to match the TB. DONE!

IIRC Twicks69 was putting down nearly 1000hp to the flywheel on a stock 52mm throttle body.
