I was installing a deck in my friends younger sisters car and i totally forgot to disconnect battery. Right when i cut old wires about an inch before the plug all the interior lights turned off. All the fuses are fine. What did i break and is it fix able.

You might wanna double check ALL the fuses again. I had the same problem once but mine was the hot wire was grounded. Also did you maybe cut a wire you shouldn't have. I can't think of any wires that are down there that would do that though.

If you didnt catch a fuse (shame on you for not disconnecting the battery)...... then you caught the bulb, check that next.

Where's that hot wire for the interior lights at? And what color is it?

When you cut the old wires with the battery still connected the ends probably touched and you caused a short. I would check the fuses one more time. Look at the fusebox in the engine compartment. In the lower left hand corner there are two 10A fuses bundled together in a plastic housing ("Radio" and "Room Lamp"). If you have any doubts regarding their integrity just go ahead and replace them or at least test them. When done make sure you push the fuse "bundle" (holding the two fuses) back down until they click into place.
