i was jst wondering what use I would have for an afc, if any if I am running just basics mods...like exhaust and intake and 13-14psi

Being able to fine tune your fuel curves and settings to get the most out of your current setup.

You would need a Logger of some sorts as well man...

But you all forgot the biggest reason...

Chicks DIG the display's man...it's why I got my S-AFC...

100% necessary. An A/F gauge is useless.

that's what I've been hearing...a/f is useless unless its wideband.

so datalogger and afc is all I need?

and is the prce worth it to bump up to that nice blue one or is the knobby one I posted pretty decent?

You will get more adjustment points in the newer "blue face" ones. 8 on the S-AFC, and 12(?) on the S-AFC II.
