AFC I vs. AFC II

what is different in wiring up the afc2 versus the previous afc1. Is it only the extra purple wire??

after looking online at apexi site..It looks as if the afcII has two extra wires. One for knocking signal and one for throttle signal.

from what ive heard the afc2 gives you a wider range to richen/lean. i am also wondering about this as i am going to need to get one soon and i am still trying to decide on which one.

SAFC II has a better tuning range RPM wise.
