I have a 95 gsx with a 6 bolt swap. I just bought this car and the wideband seemed to be working. I took it to the carwash and washed the engine and now the wideband reads "--" I checked the connector going to the sensor and it seems fine. Did I mess something up washing it? It doesn't yet have link so it has the misfire problem, would the misfire maybe cause the WB to read like that? Thank you for any help.

Usually that means the reading from the sensor is not making it to the gauge. When you turn the car off, and then back on does the gauge do anything or just go straight to ---?

Is it doing this when you go wide open throttle? Like when you floor it does it start dropping like 11.6 11.2 10.8 10.4 10.10 then --?

If so youight be going richer than the aem's resolution. I've never had an arm wide band but if I recall it only displays to 10.0:1. Maybe you are running richer than it resolution. I hate to post something that is a guess without owning and using the product myself, but that is somthing folks might not think of and it makes more sense than a car wash messing up ## wideband. Although I don't know how the hell your fuel mapping would change from a wash either.

Or leaner than it can read. Maybe you knocked off a hose from your intake pipe or knocked an intercooler connector loose.....
