Hi,

i'm installing my aem wb gauge set up tomm. in my 2g. and have a couple of questions.

I've been reading a few treads stating that many of us are powering the aem wb on the 2g from pin 12 but i am also read a tread stating that aem strongly recommends that we hook the power and ground straight to the battery using a trigger and relay. which one is the right set up?

also, do we make a new hole in the exhaust for the aem wb sensor or do we replace the rear o2 sensor with the new one?

thanks for the help.

I have my wideband tapped into my fuse box and its been like that for a year now. Also, the sensor is in my rear o2 bung. I spoke with an AEM tech on the phone in regards to placement and as long as you dont have a cat or anything, you can go as far back as you want.

I was wondering if anyone has tried or if it's possible to hook up both your stock rear O2 sensor and your wideband next to each other on, lets say a Megan O2 eliminator Downpipe? I know it may seem dumb, but if you don't want to detach it and still have your wideband too. I have the AEM WB, but I am unsure as to what to do w/ the stock O2 sensor, and I also have dsmlink. If anyone could help shed some light for me I would appreciate it? I am going to have to weld an O2 sensor in the Megan DP, so I was wondering if I should just put 2 in and then just put both of them in...idk...anyone let me know what you think? Thanks...:thumb:
