I'm tuning my car with the AEM EMS and it will start up and run just fine on the stock 450cc injectors, but when i put the PTE 880cc injectors in it won't start at all. I took the base map and adjusted it for the 880's by going to the fuel map, clicking change injectors/pressure, and i entered "old injector size 450cc @ 36psi, and new injector size 880cc at 36psi". I also entered the battery offset for the PTE1000cc injectors since the 880's wern't an option. the car was super rich, and it was flooding it out so it wouldnt start. Occationally it would run on 2 or 3 cylinders for a few seconds before it died. I did more research and found the correct battery offset for PTE 880's is as follows:

Precision 880's Battery offset table.
2550 2420 1860 1440 1200 1010 840 710 600 500 410

So i haven't tired it yet with the new battery offset values but i will tomarrow. Is there anything i'm doing wrong with my calibration of the 880's?? because i'm not sure what psi the stock injectors flow 450cc at, and im also not sure what psi the 880's are rated at. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Is a battery offset table equivalent to a injector deadtime table?
It appears to have more values if it is. Im pretty sure the PTE 880cc and 1000cc use same deadtimes at +330. Every car may vary some though with fine tuning

I'm not familiar with an injector deadtime table, but i believe the battery offset table is adjusting how long to hold the injector open based on your battery voltage. For example, if your battery voltage is 14v, the injector will open much quicker than if you only have 10v. I'm not 100% positive on that so if i'm wrong someone please correct me.

I also just found out that the PTE 880cc injectors are flow tested at 43.5psi. Now if i can only figure out what psi the DSM 450's are flow tested at i think i can get a more accurate fuel map.

880cc@49psi I beleave... there are realy Delfi injectors if it helps FIC rates them at 850cc @43.5 And 450cc in 1g's 5spds are @ 36.*psi with a stock reg

I'm quite certian that they arn't stuck shut because when i would pull the plugs out to look at them after attempting to start the car, they plugs were all wet with fuel, and the top of the pistons were also very wet with fuel. So i know it was extremely rich. I tried to simply cut the injector timing way down in the fuel map but that didnt seem to help much. the duty cycle was between 0.5% and 1.5% in the cells where it would be idling. It doesn't seem to me like the injectors could go to much lower duty cycle than that.

Try adjusting your "Initial Crank Pulse Table" this table batch fires your injectors until you reach your crank exit speed. You may be dumping to much fuel while the car is cranking. The car should catch as soon as "Stat Sync'd" is reached. Will the car start if you hold the throttle wide open?

The car will sometimes start up, and it does help if i hold the throttle open, but it is barly running. it sounds like its running on 2 cylinders. I think the crank injection table is mostly likely what is messing me up. I didnt think to adjust that when i was trying to start it before. I'm going to do a little dyno tuning on the 450's to get my fuel map shaped up a bit, and then i will work on getting the 880's to work correctly.

Unfortunately, most of the users on this site don't use AEM EMS as compared to like ECMLink.
Have you tried posting this on AEM's support forum or calling them personally?
Does it have Volumetric Efficiency tables for fuel tuning? Those may need some adjustment.

If it sounds like its running on 2 cylinders make sure that both coils are active. For whatever reason mine was set that only 1 coil was on and it was running like a** and then I figured out that the 2nd coil was turned off. If i remember correctly coil 1,2 and 6,7 should be active on the EMS. Someone please correct me on this if I am wrong.
