AEM EMS and 1600cc injectors

I have heard from people a few things on this dilema. One that you need to use an injector driver box to use that large of an injector as the factory resistor box will be over worked. Another is that the EMS and factory set up will handle the big injectors. And the last is that you don't need an injector driver box but it is recomended. If anyone can shed some light on this area it would be greatly appreciated.

It isn't needed but recommended. Without the driver, you're idle will be pretty rich and possibly have problems holding it below 2K.

You should check out the AEM Forums. This has been covered very nicely there.

You don't absolutely need the injector driver but it is nice. There are people running 1600cc injectors with no problems without the box but if you want a closer to factory idle then the box is recommended. Apparently the stock driver has a hard time opening and closeing the injector pintle fast enough which is why the driver is recommended.
